I feel very fortunate to have made my life in Bristol. As you can see from my record, and hopefully hear from those who know me, I have put my energy into making Bristol a better place.
Bristol is packed with talent that should be used for the benefit of all, but is too often marginalised by a tribal party political system modelled on Westminster. I am tired of politicians’ promises and prefer to judge people by their achievements.
My priority is to use my experience and love of Bristol to create a happier, healthier and more connected city. We need vision to create a more sustainable city. We must create prosperity, skills and jobs, and give our communities more responsibility and resources to unleash their energy and talent.
Through this, we the people of Bristol, will determine our own futures.
I have done stuff – I know what it takes – I want to share it with you…
